Marek Kita (1989), a Polish photographer and filmmaker, based in Warsaw, strongly involved in widely understood visual culture and art.
He graduate of "international relations" studies at Jan Kochanowski University, studied photography in Cracow, then for another next years, student at Krzysztof Kieślowski Film School in Katowice, in the cinematography department. An author of documentary projects, films, reportages and video clips. Additionally, he conducted classes at photography workshops at the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice.
His works are presented and earned awards at many festivals in Poland and abroad (Grand Press Photo 2022, Biennale TIFF Wrocław, FOTOFILMIC JOURNAL 18, Fujifilm Moment Street Photo Awards, Pisa International Photo Festival, ART200 International de Film Queer, Nomination to Nagroda im. Jana Machulskiego, Offeliada 2022, Macau ISFF China).
